Our journey with customers commence with us taking time to get an understanding of your business, your clients, and how you structure yourself. We will want to know about the products or services you offer, a little about the history of your accounts, your accounts team, and of course a summary of what you need from us. At this stage we typically ask for copies of prior bank statements, and tax returns (if relevant), and company documents to allow us to ensure we can get your Xero setup structured in the right fashion.

Setup your Xero Accounting software.

We setup Xero to ensure it reflects your business. Whether you are a CV or PT local company or a PT/PMA Foreign owned firm, the steps we follow are similar. We assist you to setup any payroll structures required, and we ensure your balance sheet reflects the owner capital invested to start your business.

TRACKING YOUR SALES AND OPERATIONS

Xero supports a flexible chart of accounts to ensure your revenue, expenses and any direct cost of sales are setup in a way that gives you the reporting you need. We also setup Xero “tracking” if you want to slice and dice your reports to reflect departments, locations, product types as required.

Bring any past accounts processing up to date.

Fortunately for many customers who are just changing accounting systems but had a process in place previously, this step is not necessary. For some clients however they are either behind on their accounts or in some cases had no prior accounts creating the need for us to work on the backlog to get things in good shape before monthly processing begins. Our team have experience in preparing data for automated import to ease this task and in some cases we can process many thousands of transactions in quick time to save you money on catching up with your bookkeeping.

Begin regular accounts processing.

For some clients this stage involves acting .as a backup or support partner while we train their internal accounts staff to take on the workload. For others, they prefer to let us handle this for you and we offer competitively priced fixed monthly bookkeeping, payroll and tax reporting packages if you prefer not to have staff at your firm handling this.
